Cookie policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
This page explains which cookies and similar tools the caffeminotti.it website uses.
In short
The site itself only uses technical tools: no profiling or statistics cookies, no advertising. The only parts that add third-party cookies and services are the Google Maps map and the HappyChef online booking form, and they only load if you give your consent, from the banner or from the buttons next to them. You can change your choice at any time from “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page; your choice is kept for 6 months, as set out in the Italian data protection authority's cookie guidelines of 10 June 2021.
Technical tools used by the site
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| theme | Browser local storage | Remembers the light or dark theme, if you choose one | Until you delete it |
| sk-cookie-consent | Browser local storage | Remembers your cookie choice | 6 months |
The statistics tools (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights) do not use cookies.
The booking form (Book page only)
The booking form is a HappyChef web page shown inside our Book page. It only loads if you have given your consent, and it stores these items in your browser under the HappyChef site's name:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __stripe_mid | Stripe cookie, loaded by the form | Fraud prevention | 1 year |
| __stripe_sid | Stripe cookie, loaded by the form | Fraud prevention | 30 minutes |
| storedNumber | Browser local storage, HappyChef | Makes the form work | Until you delete it |
| cache_… | Browser local storage, HappyChef | Copy of the restaurant's details and available times, so the form loads faster | Until you delete it |
The form also loads resources from other services used by HappyChef, which receive your IP address: Stripe, Cloudflare Turnstile (to tell people from automated programs), Google Fonts (for the form's typefaces) and images hosted by third parties. Without your consent none of them is loaded, and the Book page offers a link to book on the HappyChef website instead: there, its own cookie policy applies. Withdrawing consent stops the form from loading again, but does not delete cookies already stored: you can delete those from your browser. Their policies: HappyChef, Stripe, Cloudflare, Google.
The Google Maps map (Home and Contact pages)
If you have given your consent, the “Getting here” section shows a Google Maps map. Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, as explained in its cookie policy. Without consent, the map is replaced by a link that opens Google Maps in a new page.
Social media links
The Facebook, Instagram and Tripadvisor icons are plain links: nothing loads from those sites until you click.
How to delete cookies and stored data
